Bolton’s Family Hubs have achieved Stage 1 status in the UNICEF UK Baby Friendly Initiative, marking the first step toward full accreditation for their maternity and community health support. This recognition confirms the service has the foundations in place to promote breastfeeding and infant health, helping local families build strong emotional bonds and long-term wellbeing.
