A team from the University of Cambridge is developing a suitcase-sized satellite, CosmoCube, to detect radio signals from the early universe from the far side of the moon. By measuring the 21cm line emitted by neutral hydrogen, researchers hope to track gas temperatures and investigate the nature of dark matter during the universe's first billion years.
