The red phone box at Carsaig, featured in the 1945 film I Know Where I'm Going!, was slated for removal by BT as part of a rationalisation plan. Following appeals from film enthusiasts, Argyll & Bute Council successfully negotiated for the Category B listed structure to remain in place - preserving a landmark for visitors and cinema history.
