Eighteen-year-old Abdullah Mahmood achieved two A*s and two As in his A-levels while navigating the loss of his mother at the start of his final year. He will now head to the University of Leeds to pursue his goal of becoming an aeronautical engineer, honouring the value his mother placed on his education.
