Master's student Maha Khan has produced a chocolate bar using cocoa grown entirely at the University of Reading's International Cocoa Quarantine Centre. The project highlights the vulnerability of the global cocoa supply chain to climate change and disease, demonstrating that domestic production is possible even as the industry faces increasing environmental pressures.
