Dr Amanda Cole, an assistant professor in sociolinguistics at Cambridge University, has decided to share her experience of living with Tourette's syndrome after years of keeping her condition private. By speaking out, she hopes to challenge public misconceptions and provide the representation she felt was missing when she was younger.
