The government has awarded over £47m to 33 automotive projects as part of the DRIVE35 programme, which aims to support the transition to zero-emission vehicles. By combining this grant funding with private investment, the initiative helps businesses scale up new technologies and strengthens domestic manufacturing supply chains.
