The Forest for Cornwall scheme has secured £8.7m in government funding to continue its expansion, following the successful planting of two million trees since 2019. This investment supports the council's goal of establishing 8,000 hectares of new canopy by 2035, helping to improve local biodiversity, soil health, and climate resilience across the county.
