Northern Rail is extending its digital pay-as-you-go trial on routes between Harrogate, Leeds, Sheffield, and Doncaster for another three years. By using GPS to automatically calculate the cheapest fare, the system aims to simplify ticketing and remove the need for passengers to navigate complex fare options.
