Transport for Wales has seen rail passenger numbers reach 34.9 million, with growth outpacing the UK industry average alongside a 3.3 percentage point increase in customer satisfaction. The network also completed 170km of electrification on the Core Valley Lines, providing a more reliable service for commuters across the region.
