Rheinmetall has secured a contract to produce 155 mm gun assemblies for the British Army's new RCH 155 wheeled howitzers at a site in Telford. This domestic manufacturing agreement will replace the AS90 systems previously sent to Ukraine and establish a long-term production capability in the UK through 2031.
