Fidra Energy has confirmed its contracting partners for the new West Burton C battery storage facility in Nottinghamshire, with construction set to begin later this year. By repurposing the site of a former coal power station, the project will help integrate more renewable energy into the national grid and improve system flexibility when it becomes operational in 2028.
