Britten-Norman has moved production of its nine-seater Islander aircraft back to its Bembridge facility after decades of manufacturing in Romania. The first completed plane is destined for the Falkland Islands Government Air Service, marking a return to domestic production that has already seen the company's local workforce grow by 40%.
