Visitors to the Newcastle Carnival on 22 August will have the first opportunity to board The Canny Lass, a new 98-passenger catamaran operating on the River Tyne. These free taster sessions mark the return of sightseeing cruises to the city, helping to restore a popular river activity that ceased during the pandemic.
