Dame Kelly Holmes fired the starting gun for Newcastle's biggest Pride 5K and Junior Run in years, with 450 participants gathering in Leazes Park. Organised by the Newcastle Frontrunners, the sell-out event marked the start of the city's Pride weekend and provided a community-focused opening to the festivities.
