United Utilities has planted 25,500 trees and restored 726 hectares of peatland across four sites in Lancashire, including the West Pennine Moors and Bowland. These natural habitats help improve water quality and manage flood risks by slowing rainwater runoff, providing a long-term boost to the local environment.
