Northgate Primary School in Bridgwater has been named a winner of the 2026 Bees' Needs Champions Award for transforming its grounds into a habitat for pollinators. By creating wildflower meadows and installing bug hotels, the school has provided a space for local wildlife to thrive while giving pupils a hands-on role in conservation.
