Cambridge-based CuspAI has raised £330m from investors including the UK government and Jeff Bezos to build AI software that discovers new materials for industry. By reducing reliance on rare metals and accelerating research times, the company aims to overcome the material constraints currently limiting advancements in battery and semiconductor technology.
