Lightburn Hospital tearoom in Glasgow reopens thanks to retired staff member
After closing during the pandemic, the Lightburn Hospital tearoom has reopened its doors to patients, staff, and the local community. Hilda Lennon, who retired from the hospital after 40 years, is leading the volunteer effort to restore the space as a central meeting point for the hospital. The tearoom will initially operate two days a week, providing a social hub for those visiting or working at the site.
