Viktoriia Jouja, a former veterinary surgeon from Kherson, has opened a bakery in Dumfries after moving to Scotland with her family. By sharing traditional recipes taught to her by her grandmother, she has turned a market stall hobby into a permanent business - providing a new start for her family after leaving their home in 2022.
