A new emergency kit containing a tourniquet and haemostatic gauze has been installed at Faversham Recreation Ground to provide immediate first aid in the event of a stabbing. Backed by local campaigners and the Friends of Faversham Cottage Hospital, the equipment aims to offer a vital safety net for the public in the minutes before paramedics arrive.
