Emmaus North East is launching a new support service for women escaping domestic abuse, funded by the Northumbria Police and Crime Commissioner. By offering advocacy, counselling, and safety planning alongside its existing accommodation, the charity aims to address one of the primary causes of homelessness for women in the region.
