RNLI lifeguards rescue two girls swept 300m out to sea at Formby beach
Two girls were swept 300 metres offshore on an inflatable by strong winds at Formby beach before abandoning the craft in the water. RNLI lifeguards Grace Jones and Violet Costello reached the children and brought them safely back to shore, highlighting the importance of lifeguard vigilance during busy summer days.
