Rescue teams were called to the shoreline north of Seaton Sluice early Monday morning after a yacht ran aground. The Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade and Blyth Coastguard safely assisted the owner and their two dogs, and have since secured the vessel to ensure it does not become a hazard to other shipping.
