The Liverpool City Region is set to receive £300m to fix potholes and improve roads across all six boroughs. This funding, subject to approval, will be added to the £233m already allocated, bringing total investment in local roads past £500m. The money comes from a £1.6bn settlement and will support safety initiatives and upgrades to make travel safer and more accessible.
