The Marlowe Theatre has secured a 50-year lease for the historic Poor Priests Hospital in Canterbury for £1 a year. By investing £8.5m into the site, the theatre plans to reopen the long-vacant building as a public creative space called The Hive, providing a new venue for performances, community activities, and heritage events.
