Rice Lane Recreation Ground in Walton is getting a brand new £125,000 play area featuring climbing frames, slides and inclusive swings that cater to children of all abilities. Residents helped choose the design through a community consultation, and the project is partly funded by insurance from the old equipment. The area will have 37 features and space for 42 users, with installation expected to begin soon.
