The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence has approved two new diagnostic tests that can identify endometriosis in a fraction of the time currently required. By replacing lengthy waits for scans or surgery with faster testing, these tools aim to reduce the average decade-long delay women currently face before receiving a diagnosis.
