The Victorian Pacific Pool in Chester is set to reopen this autumn following a major donation from the Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation. The pool had remained closed since the pandemic, when draining the facility caused damage to its original tiles and subsequent energy costs delayed restoration efforts.
