A new 13-hectare habitat featuring ponds, trees, and hedgerows has been established near Thong to support local wildlife including newts, birds, and bats. By completing this space early, conservationists have time to prepare the land for the relocation of species from future construction areas, ensuring the project supports biodiversity alongside infrastructure development.
