The Cricketers in Gillingham has applied for planning permission to extend its opening hours and add a garden bar to accommodate growing interest in its events. New landlord Simon Thomas, who took over the pub in February, says the venue has become a local hub offering bingo, music nights, and charity events. The changes aim to improve customer flow and support the community while employing and training 15 local staff.
