Wigston neighbours rescue 87-year-old from fire using doorbell camera
When a fire broke out in a home in Wigston, Leicestershire, neighbours used a doorbell camera to guide each other in rescuing 87-year-old Phyllis Day, who was asleep with Alzheimer's and unaware of the danger. Suzanne Wright, Phyllis's daughter, watched the unfolding rescue on the camera and gave instructions over the intercom, helping the group pull her mother to safety before the fire service arrived.
