Merthyr Tydfil Synagogue to be restored after £4m funding boost
The oldest surviving synagogue in Wales, which has stood empty for two decades, is set for a full restoration following a £3.9m grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The project will transform the 150-year-old Grade II-listed building into a community space, creating new jobs and volunteering opportunities for the local area.
