After decades of the village functioning primarily as a tourist destination, a small fleet of historic Polperro Gaffer fishing boats has been restored and returned to the harbour. By bringing these 19th-century vessels back to their home port, local residents are reviving a tangible connection to the village's long-standing maritime heritage.
