After escaping from a dog sitter in Gosforth, three-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback Bobby ended up on the Metro tracks between South Gosforth and Ilford Road. Tyne and Wear Metro staff located the dog and returned him to his owner, Barry Churchill, ending a morning of search and panic for the family.
