Roofer discovers photo of his son he hid under a Newcastle museum roof 24 years ago
While carrying out refurbishment work at the Discovery Museum in Newcastle, roofer Alan Needham found a photograph of his son that he had tucked under a slate in 2002. Needham has made a habit of leaving such mementos on jobs throughout his 42-year career, intending them as small surprises for future generations to uncover.
