After struggling with grief and anxiety following the loss of his mother, Christopher Hope turned to food for comfort and reached a weight of 22st 11lbs. A diagnosis of hypertension prompted him to join a local Slimming World group, where he has since lost six stone and regained his confidence through new social connections.
