Neath Port Talbot Council is replacing its diesel waste vehicles with 21 electric models, becoming the first local authority in the UK to transition to a fully electric recycling fleet. Partly powered by on-site solar panels, the new vehicles will help the council meet national recycling targets while improving local air quality.
