Thirteen-year-olds Kearyn and Adrianna build a woodland den during outdoor learning session
Pupils from the Royal Blind School in Edinburgh visited the nearby Astley Ainslie hospital gardens to construct a den using ropes and tarpaulin. By focusing on the sounds, textures, and smells of the woods, the students gained a deeper connection to nature that they are now incorporating into their school sensory garden projects.
