An 11-year-old girl was freed after her leg became wedged between large rocks on Dartmoor, thanks in part to a bottle of Fairy washing up liquid used as a lubricant. Shannon was on a school trip when she got stuck on Hound Tor, and rescue teams including the Devon Cave Rescue Organisation worked to get her out safely. Team leader Olly Rees said the liquid 'made all the difference' in helping free her leg from the tight gap.
