The Prince of Wales attended a gala in Newport to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Wales Air Ambulance Charity, for which he serves as royal patron. Since its launch in 2001, the service has grown from a single helicopter in Swansea to a 24-hour operation that brings critical care directly to patients across the nation.
