Beavers prevent flooding at Greenford station after being reintroduced to Ealing
After heavy rain frequently flooded the area around Greenford Tube station, the Ealing Beaver Project released five beavers into the nearby Paradise Fields to test their impact on local water management. The animals have since built a series of dams that have successfully prevented flooding, offering a natural and cost-effective alternative to expensive engineering works.
