Work is starting on the Twyn Hywel Energy Park on the border of Rhondda Cynon Taf and Caerphilly after securing £160m in funding. Once operational next year, the 14-turbine site will generate enough clean electricity to power 81,000 homes annually and provide a yearly community benefit fund of over £700,000.
