A long-vacant two-acre site between Spital Street and Hythe Street is set to be redeveloped into 69 homes, shops, and a potential cinema or music venue. The project aims to replace the derelict former Co-op building with a new neighbourhood, providing a permanent use for the land once the temporary Orchard West Theatre is dismantled.
