Construction has begun on 14 new homes in West Kirby, where wall and roof panels manufactured in a Birkenhead factory are being assembled on-site. By using these modern methods, each house can be made watertight in roughly 36 hours, providing a faster way to deliver new social and private housing with minimal disruption to the local community.
