Kevin Sinfield is to receive a knighthood in recognition of his efforts to raise over £11 million for motor neurone disease charities. He began his fundraising journey following the diagnosis of his friend and former teammate Rob Burrow, and the honour marks his ongoing commitment to supporting those affected by the condition.
