Delabole-based Balaena Ltd has acquired the parent company of A&P and Cammell Laird, bringing together shipyards in Falmouth, Birkenhead, and Tyneside. The merger creates a network of 12 dry docks and over 2,000 jobs, strengthening the UK's capacity to support Royal Navy, commercial, and offshore energy vessels.
