Northumberland family reunite with air ambulance crew who helped deliver son in emergency
A Northumberland family has met again with the Great North Air Ambulance Service crew who helped transport Claire Lee to hospital during an emergency birth seven years ago. In April 2019, Claire went into labour with her son Reuben and faced complications when it was discovered the baby was breech. The GNAAS team flew her to hospital, cutting a potential hour-long road journey down to just over ten minutes. Reuben was later born safely.
