A new natural history GCSE curriculum has been proposed for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, focusing on habitats, climate change and human impact on the environment. Students will spend at least 20 hours in the field learning practical skills, such as creating wildflower-friendly gardens, to help them engage directly with local conservation efforts.
