HM Revenue and Customs is investing over £11 million to help people struggling with tax bills by supporting charities and community groups. The funding will assist organisations offering free advice to those who find it hard to manage their tax affairs or access digital services. The scheme, which more than doubles previous support, aims to help thousands of people understand their tax responsibilities and claim benefits they may be entitled to.
